one
This week was really awesome! We had a lot of miracles and a lot of fun. We have been trading weird Bible stories with our District Leader and his companion. I'm not going into much detail because we are hoping to go on an adventure today. I'm going to try eating snails today! Pray for me.
Basically this email is to thank each and every one of you for all of your prayers, letters, and emails during this whole crazy ride of a mission. The mission has been the most amazing, miraculous, intense, stressful, draining, exciting, fun, painful, inspirational, and gratifying experience of my whole life. It has FLOWN by and I really can't even comprehend that it's just about over. It's been hard having to start saying goodbyes again and realize that I need to enjoy every minute, not only of Portugal, but of serving the Lord with all my heart, mind, might, and strength.
I'm so grateful for the restored gospel in my life. I know that Christ lives and that He loves each of us. I know the His love for us is infinite and that we can feel it in a way we can't comprehend when we apply the Atonement. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today. I know he guides and counsels us so we can return to our Father in heaven. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that we can become closer to Christ more through reading that book than by any other practice in life.
I love you all and I love Portugal and I love Christ.
See you in a week :)
Paula before the baptism.
This is a less-active/part member family that we work with a ton who blessed their baby girl on Sunday. (they asked if I could do the blessing... some people who are not super active don't really comprehend the details of priesthood)
